Tracking warm temperatures and lots of sunshine

Happy Mother's Day, St. Joseph! This evening will once again be warm, with temperatures remaining in the low 80s. It’s a great time to get outside if you haven’t already! Winds will stay breezy at 5–15 mph from the east, shifting to the east-southeast tonight. Temperatures will drop to the low 50s overnight, which is near average.
Above-average temperatures and sunshine will continue into the start of the workweek. Winds will remain light from the east-southeast, and highs will be in the low 80s on Monday. On Tuesday, a few clouds are expected, but skies will still be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-80s. Showers are possible southeast of our area, mainly in central and eastern Missouri, Monday night into Tuesday.
Wednesday will be toasty, with highs potentially reaching 90 degrees for the first time this year.
