Warmer than normal, but quiet through Mother’s Day

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- If you loved yesterday, you'll love today and the next several days. Warmer than normal temperatures are in the forecast, with today being the coolest day for the rest of the week. Highs today top out in the high 70s with 80s expected for much of the rest of the week. Plentiful sunshine and low humidity levels will make conditions outside prime for exploring the great outdoors.

This weekend includes a holiday- Mother's Day, and Missouri Western graduations. The weather couldn't be much better for any celebrations, with warm afternoons, light winds, and sunny skies! If you are planning on spending any time outside, this is the weekend to do so.

Our next best chance of rain is possible on Monday, but even then, chances look slim. Of course, the weather always changes, so we will keep you updated, right here on News Press Now.
