Shelly Rae Patterson, 62, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at her home. She was born April 24, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter of Patricia “Pat” and Albert “Pat” Patterson. She attended Central High School.

Shelly was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in St. Joseph. She loved art, crocheting and bird watching and she had a witty sense of humor.

Shelly was preceded in death by father, Albert “Pat” Patterson; siblings, Debra Howdeshell, Fred Robidoux, Walt Robidoux and Michael Patterson.

Survivors include mother, Patricia “Pat” Patterson and step-father, Herbert “Doc” Patterson, of St. Joseph; daughter, Lilly Good, of New York; grandchildren, Nate, Markus and Alydia Krull; great-granddaughter, Amelia Krull; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Ms. Patterson has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4605 Pickett Rd. St. Joseph, MO 64503.

Memorials are requested to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children or Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
