Tracking a cooler & cloudy start to the workweek

Good morning, Saint Joseph, and happy Monday!

We’re kicking off the workweek with cooler, milder weather compared to the weekend. A cold front moved through early this morning, bringing a drop in temperatures and some scattered rain chances throughout the day.

Most of the rain associated with the front has already shifted east of I-35, but we’re still seeing thick cloud cover across the area.

Morning temperatures are holding steady in the low to mid-60s—right around our seasonal average high of 69 degrees. Today’s high will only reach about 72 degrees.

Rain chances increase later this evening, especially after the evening commute. Accumulation is expected to remain light.

Looking ahead, a warming trend begins Tuesday with highs near 74. We'll see upper 70s on Wednesday, and 80s return by Thursday. Another round of rain is possible on Friday as temperatures settle back into the low to mid-70s for the weekend.
