NWMO Republican Club to hold October meeting

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- The Northwest Missouri Republican Club will hold its October meeting on Thursday, Oct. 16, and will feature Missouri Western State University's president as a special guest.

The meeting will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. at Bandana's Bar-B-Q, located at 4225 Frederick Ave.

The dinner and program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Elizabeth Kennedy became MoWest's sixth president in 2021 and will share about major campus improvements, new academic programs and the strengthened partnerships she's brought between the community, schools and businesses.
