(Published in the St. Joseph News-Press Fri. 9/26/25) NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING WHEREAS, on August 28, 2025, the Planning Commission of the City of St. Joseph, Missouri, recommended APPROVAL of the following rezoning requested by David Gach redistricting the property located at 3909 S. 40th Terrace from M-1 Light Manufacturing District to C-3 Commercial District in accordance with Section 31-003 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of St. Joseph, Missouri. WHEREAS, on September 29, 2025, the following Ordinance constituting the rezoning will be introduced for first reading by the Council of the City of St. Joseph, Missouri: An ordinance redistricting 3909 S. 40th Terrace from M-1 Light Manufacturing District to C-3 Commercial District as requested by David Gach. (Section 31-003.306) Lot 2 of Block 0, Fox Hills IV, Addition to the City of St. Joseph. NOW, THEREFORE, notice is hereby given to all citizens of the City of St. Joseph, Missouri, that the Council will hold a public hearing on October 13, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall on the aforesaid rezoning which will be introduced for passage and at which time all parties in interest and citizens will be given an opportunity to be heard and be informed as to the aforementioned Ordinance.
