Community Partnership Strategy

(Published in the St. Joseph News-Press Fri. 9/19/25) PUBLIC NOTICE The City of St. Joseph’s Department of Planning and Community Development has completed its Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Programs for the period, July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. The Performance Report describes each activity for which CDBG and HOME funds were budgeted in the Community Partnership Strategy and Consolidated Plan – Fifth Year Annual Plan for Program Year 2024/2025. The Report provides a summary of programmatic accomplishments and the city’s assessment of its progress in addressing the priority needs and the specific goals and objectives identified in the strategic plan and action plan. The public and interested citizens are invited to review and examine the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report and submit comments regarding the City of St. Joseph’s use of available resources and its accomplishments in addressing the identified needs. Copies of the Annual Performance Report are available for review at the following locations: · Department of Planning and Community Development, Room 101-B, City Hall · Can be viewed on The City of St. Joseph’s website · St Joseph Public Library The Department of Planning and Community Development, Room 101-B, City Hall, 1100 Frederick Avenue, St. Joseph, Missouri 64501, will accept written comments regarding the Annual Performance Report until 5:00 pm, September 30, 2025. Citizens may also verbally present their views and comments to the Council of the City of St. Joseph during a public hearing to be held at 5:30 p.m., September 29, 2025, in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1100 Frederick Avenue, St. Joseph, Missouri. All comments, either written or presented verbally to the Council, will be summarized and included with the Annual Performance Report when it is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about September 30, 2025.
