Tracking showers and thunderstorms to start the new week

Rain has become more intermittent this morning and will become more widespread later. Chances for heavy rainfall have diminished, with light to moderate rain expected through the morning. Isolated showers and thunderstorms could still develop this afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the mid- to upper 70s with light winds. Tonight, light rain is possible with lows in the upper 60s.

Spotty showers are possible Tuesday morning before skies become partly to mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 80s, below average for this time of year. Winds will remain light.

For the rest of the week, temperatures will climb and sunshine will return.
