It’s Your Call for Aug. 8

Thank you, Saint Patrick's Church

I just wanted to thank Saint Patrick's Church for their 56th annual Mexican Fiesta and that they were blessed with beautiful weather. I was so happy for them. It was awesome. Thank you. 

Doesn't make sense

My question is, you know, this city — and I'm using that as a very light name — wants to close these high schools and make two high schools, but yet, every high school we have here, they're putting turf on the football fields. Now, that's not making a whole lot of sense. They want to close these schools, but they're putting astroturf on the football fields. 

Okay with that

President Trump is telling universities that unless they quit discriminating against Jews and pushing anti-Semitism and allowing Palestinians to go after Jews on campus, he's going to cut their funding. I'm okay with that. 

Interesting to see

It's interesting to note that James McCrery designed Benedictine College’s Independence Hall-inspired library has been chosen to develop the new ballroom for the White House, so President Trump has complete confidence in the guy that designed the Benedictine library. 

The hard truth

I'm sorry, but the truth is, it doesn't matter who you question about what when it comes to our government. The questions are already scripted ahead of time, and so are the answers. 

From rioter to government official

I see where one of the Jan. 6 rioters is now working for the Department of Justice. How many other rioters are working for ICE?
