Tracking unseasonable temperatures and a continued dry pattern

This afternoon, we’re continuing with dry skies, though there’s a little less sunshine. Skies are mostly cloudy and temperatures are a bit cooler, sitting in the low 80s. That’s still above average for this time of year. Tonight will be mild, with lows in the low 60s. With some lingering cloud cover, a few spots could hold in the mid-60s.
To start October, we’ll see a cloudy morning before sunshine returns by the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid-80s. Light south winds will help keep warm air in place, with overnight lows again in the low 60s.
To finish out the week, plenty of sunshine is expected along with a slight warming trend. Highs Thursday and Friday will climb into the upper 80s. A cool down isn’t expected until next week, when there’s also a slight chance for showers Monday.
