Tracking cloudy conditions before plentiful sunshine through the weekend

It’s another cloudy and cooler start to the day. Light rain and drizzle will be possible through much of the morning and early afternoon—and could even linger into the evening hours. However, we’re not expecting a washout like we saw yesterday.

Thankfully, yesterday brought much-needed rain to the area. Saint Joseph picked up nearly an inch, while areas farther south saw totals over an inch.

Today’s high will once again be in the low 70s, with about a 20% chance of light rain throughout the day. Conditions will be noticeably drier than what we experienced on Tuesday.

Looking ahead, after today we’ll see plenty of sunshine and gradually warming temperatures. Each day will add a few degrees, with highs reaching the low to mid-80s by the weekend—perfect air conditioning weather.
