Tracking fall temperatures and minimal rain chances

This afternoon has been another mild one across the St. Joseph region. Temperatures climbed into the 80s, likely for the last time over the next several days. Over the next week or so, temperatures will trend well below average, where highs are typically in the mid-80s for this time of year.

Tonight, temperatures will fall into the mid-50s with dry and cool conditions. As we head into Sunday, temperatures will quickly climb into the mid-70s, with clouds increasing through the morning. Scattered rain chances are expected throughout the day Sunday, along with increased cloud cover.

Monday looks to be even cooler than Sunday, with highs in the low 70s and overnight lows in the low 50s. These temperatures will definitely make it feel more like fall across the region. Dry conditions are expected to return after Sunday’s rain and last through Tuesday. However, by Wednesday, a warm-up is expected along with increased chances for rain.

Thursday appears to bring the highest rain chances of the week, with temperatures once again dipping back into the low 70s.
