Beautiful today with warmer temperatures on the horizon

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- Howdy folks! We are in for another great day here in the Central Plains with temperatures below average and minimal rain chances. This peaceful weather trend will continue over the next several days, though we will warm up a bit each day, eventually ending up with warmer than normal temperatures by midweek.

Rain-wise, chances are looking minimal, but I have included a few days with a 10% chance of rain just for the off chance that a sprinkle happens. The next best chance of rain is likely for this weekend. Other than that, I wouldn't expect much on the rain side of things.

All in all, this will be another great week in the Central Plains with a mild start and warm finish. Enjoy the great outdoors and stay cool folks!
