Cool conditions stick around through the weekend

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- We are looking at a fantastic couple of days here in the Central Plains! Temperatures will be nice and cool through the weekend, and averaging about 10 degrees below average, with forecast highs in the high 70s each day. Some cloud cover will stick around today, but I do expect more breaks in the clouds as the day goes on.

Rain chances will hold off until the weekend, however, they aren't too likely to bring much to our area as of now. I would still encourage you to stay up to date with our forecasts to see how they change, but as of now, I wouldn't worry about a wash-out weekend.

Temperatures will eventually get back to normal values, but not until next week! That means we have four solid days of weather in a row. Get outside, enjoy the cool temperatures and lack of rain, because we know days like these don't come around so often in the summer.
