Tracking minimal rain chances into Thursday

Memorial day showers have since come to a halt. This past rain event left the St. Joseph area with rain totals over an inch. Some areas so localized higher amounts closer to 1.5 inches. Behind all the rain, clouds continue to blanket the area leading to another cool and gloomy day. Overnight temperature will drop into the low to middle 50s before we start to see temperature improvement tomorrow. Our next chance of rain will be Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon. These rain chances will only be 30%, and be very spotty and scattered in nature. Plenty of dry time is anticipated in between these rain chances. After Thursday a steady warmup is expected as temperatures climb to the 80s by the weekend with clearing skies and plenty of time to soak up some sunshine.
