Kansas City Chiefs send wide receiver Skyy Moore to San Francisco before final preseason game

KANSAS CITY, Mo (News-Press NOW) -- Just days before their final preseason game, the Kansas City Chiefs are sending wide receiver Skyy Moore to the San Francisco 49ers, per Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport of ESPN.
The 49ers receive Skyy Moore and a seventh round pick while the Chiefs are getting a sixth round pick in return.
Moore was drafted by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Western Michigan University.
In his three years with the Chiefs he only caught one touchdown pass and never broke 500 career receiving yards. He only appeared in six games for the Chiefs last year.
San Francisco is getting Skyy Moore with their wide receiver room heavily depleted. Their number one wide receiver is Brandon Aiyuk is recovering from a knee injury sustained last season, Jauan Jennings is dealing with a calf injury, Jordan Watkins has a high ankle sprain, and former Chief DeMarcus Robinson is facing a three-game suspension.
Skyy Moore will get more reps in San Francisco with the Chiefs wide receiver room having a lot of depth this season with Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, Juju Smith-Schuster, Hollywood Brown, Tyquan Thornton and Jalen Royals.
