St. Joseph Mustangs celebrating holiday homestead

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- The Mustangs are back at home this weekend for their Independence Day homestead.

The Mustangs have promotions for each day honoring active military and veterans, as well as post-game fireworks for every game this weekend.

Promotions for these games include:

  • Thursday, July 3, veterans and active military will receive two free general admission tickets. There will also be a special American celebration and Military Heroes appreciation ceremony pregame.
  • Friday, July 4, veterans and active military will receive two free deck tickets with an all-you-can-eat hot dog buffet. It is also family night on Independence Day, so be sure to bring the family to Phil Welch Stadium.
  • Saturday, July 5, is public safety night at Phil Welch Stadium. A softball game between the St Joseph Police Department and St Joseph Fire Department will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. All Fire/Police/EMT will receive two free general admission tickets and the first 200 Mustangs fans will receive a free Mustangs Hat.
