Waynesville man injured in one-vehicle Harrison County crash

A Waynesville, Missouri man suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle Harrison County crash.

HARRISON COUNTY, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- A Waynesville, Missouri man was taken to the hospital after a one-vehicle crash in Harrison County Monday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred around 6:26 p.m., where Route EE meets Route M, about eight miles north of New Hampton, Missouri.

A 57-year-old Waynesville man driving south in his pickup truck traveled off the road and into a creek.

His truck hit an embankment before resting partially submerged.

First responders took the man to Mosaic Albany for serious injuries.

He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.
