GRUNDY COUNTY, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- A Galt, Missouri teen suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle Grundy County crash Wednesday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred around 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 2nd and 10th streets, just under 3 miles southwest of Galt.

A 15-year-old driving a utility terrain vehicle lost control and overcorrected -- it flipped, launching him.

First responders took him to M-U in Columbia for serious injuries.

He was not wearing safety gear, according to the crash report.
