St. Joseph man seriously injured in one-car crash
PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- A St. Joseph man suffered serious injuries in a one-car Platte County crash Tuesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at around 10:30 a.m. on Interstate 29 North near Dearborn, Missouri.
A 51-year-old St. Joseph man fell asleep behind the wheel, ran off the road, and hit a ditch, then several trees.
First responders took him to Mosaic Life Care via ambulance for serious injuries.
He was wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.
