Dance coach named September Hometown Hero

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- September's Hometown Hero, sponsored by Tolly and Associates American Family Insurance, is Chelsey Sollars Wilkinson.

Wilkinson is a direct role model for the youth as a dance coach and attendance taker at Central High School. Wilkinson was not just submitted for her impact on the youth, but also for her overall desire to make the world a better place.

"What's important to me with our youth is that they know how to regulate their emotions, communicate properly, and always be honest," said Wilkinson.

Wilkinson's experience at her dance studio, Truth Academy of Dance and at Central High School has given her the platform to instill her guidance in the youth.
