Choose hope, not hate

For those select few who can't wait to wake up in the morning to spew negativity on It's Your Call about our city leaders, our school board members, and our government officials that we went to the polls and voted into office, let me suggest these five things. Try rolling out of bed on the other side. Look into the mirror and commit to saying something positive and uplifting for the day. Stop watching the news and go volunteer at one of our many wonderful organizations. Try to be better, not bitter. Choose hope and not hate.

Wrong priorities

While ICE agents in Minnesota shoot American citizens, Donald Trump spends his time laying off 1,000 construction workers so he can get his name on the Dulles Airport and the train station.

Seems like blackmail

Trump is threatening to withhold the $12 billion in funding for the tunnel that's from New York to New Jersey. He will release the money if they were promised to name Penn Station after him and an airport. I call that blackmail.

Change your strategy

So, it's kind of strange the Democrats don't want people to prove that their votes are valid. Hey, I got news for you: If you're so worried you can't win without cheating, maybe you should change what you're doing.
