Cost to the taxpayers

I was just in the state office building downtown, and I see where Missouri State employees not only getting Christmas off, but Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas. I'm no Scrooge, but I'm wondering what this costs to Missouri State taxpayers and our budget.

Just wondering

How many of the parents who refuse to get their kids vaccinated have had children that come down with the measles?

Listen to the voters

I hope the St. Joe School District realizes that they have shot themselves in the foot for the next 15 to 20 years of ever getting anything passed by the voting public in St. Joe. They need to listen to the general population and not special interest groups.

There are still good people in St. Joe

This is a little brighter call of being thankful to someone for a kind deed they done. Last Wednesday, my granddaughter accidentally, of course, locked her keys in her car with a one-year-old inside. Collision Repair Specialist promptly came out, unlocked the car, and would not charge her for the call, which was such a kind act on their part. So thankful that there are still caring, kind people in this town. We need to hear more about things like that. Again, thanks to Collision Repair Specialties. Good people. Thank you.
