Empty promises

I'm calling in reference to the comment “It’s time to make changes.” Sir or ma'am, I do have the same car I had 15 years ago. I have the same auto insurance and I have the same homeowners insurance from 15 years ago. I would be glad to make changes or see changes made to the Affordable Care Act if there was anything there to replace it. But it's all empty promises by the Republican Party and Donald Trump because they have nothing to replace it. They just want the name Obamacare taken off of it. Why don't they just change it to Trumpcare? 

If logic prevails

After reading the News-Press editorial in this Weekender, I must say I agree. However, let me point out that Benton serves a part of St. Joe that is far from the Noyes Boulevard area. The South Side is, in a way, its own city. It once was Georgetown, Missouri, back in the day. Central and Lafayette are only two miles apart and serve the Midtown, north and northeast of our city. If logic prevails, it is Benton which should remain a high school. And I only live four blocks from Central, west of Central.
