Bob Ford did a great job on the article about Gary Chilcote and the Patee House. It's been a real sparkling area for the city especially.

Talk about madness

This is in regard to “Big rip off” in It's Your Call. Yes, the sewer bill is a big rip off. Talk about madness in this town. That's madness. I'm a single person on a fixed income and my bill is up every month. A single person that does maybe one load of laundry a week, minimal dishes, do not water my lawn. My sewer bill is two and three times higher than my water bill. It's madness and no one can give you any concrete answers as to why this is going on.

Complete disregard for voters

The Republicans have shown a complete disregard for the voters' wishes in the state of Missouri. When we vote on an amendment and we pass it, then the legislature comes in and overturns our vote, saying that we didn't understand, so therefore, the vote is not legal.

Get it on

I've seen where President Trump is considering charges being bought against George Soros for all that he's involved in. I say it's time to take off the gloves. Donald Trump, file the charges and let's get it on.

Pack up and leave

After this week's blatant in-your-face assassination of a young man speaking in front of college age students, some people thought that it was okay to speak out and ridicule that. And then we have some people that think it's okay to criticize the president for trying to clean up Chicago. The only thing I can say is if you don't like this country, please pack your grocery sack and move out. We're trying to improve this country and if you still want to believe that the last administration was correct, you didn't see the results of the election. Pack up, get out.

'Free' speech?

We've gone from a freedom of speech country to a freedom of speech only if you say something nice about Trump.
