I strongly disagree with the placement of the National Guard in our cities. The National Guard should be under the control of the state’s governor, not the president.

Are we winning yet?

At Monday's school board meeting, during a discussion on why an item was now more expensive than originally quoted, that big, beautiful word “tariffs” was part of the reason. I guess this is another way we are winning under this administration. As I watched the prices at the grocery store go up, that must be a form of winning that I'm not familiar with. How much is winning going to cost me?

Cannot support it

I believe Donald Trump is turning us into a police state. This is the thing my father always feared, but he always thought it would come from the left. He would be turning over in his grave if he knew this was the right and the Republican Party. Needless to say, I can't support it, either, and I will not support the Republican Party that does so. I want the real Republican Party back. MAGA needs to form their own party and leave, and Republicans need to stop kowtowing to them, and I mean real Republicans, because we don't want to be a mini-Russia.
