It’s Your Call for May 16

What is the hold up?

I've called several times about the mess they have at S. 36th St. They've been over there almost two years now working on that one corner. Is this the city's laziness trying to draw more money out of the people here in Saint Joe? They can't seem to get the job done. I sit there and I watch for days, no one is working on that intersection. What is the hold up? We are tired of having our street closed. Someone answer the question.

Supposed to represent us

Apparently, our Missouri lawmakers think their opinions should outweigh those of Missouri citizens. Amendment 3 was voted into law as the will of the people. Our lawmakers are challenging it as it goes into effect. Lawmakers are supposed to represent us. We are not supposed to represent them.

Suffering because of them

We the voters, have several issues that the legislature has now overturned. Working people are suffering because of their actions.
