Robinson Jr., Ernest M. 1967-2026 St. Joseph, Mo.

Ernest “Ernie” Marshall Robinson Jr., 58, of St Joseph, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, at Mosaic Life Care, in St. Joseph. He was born Oct. 30, 1967, in Las Vegas, Nevada, son of Janis (Mayfield) and Ernest Robinson Sr.

He attended Arro Grande High School, in California, later relocating to St. Joseph. He was currently working as a Team Leader at Walmart.

Ernie was a nature lover who found joy in foraging, hunting, record collecting, playing his harmonica and crafting wine, meads and spirits. He cherished his family deeply. He is with the universe and the wild places he treasured.

Ernest was preceded in death by father, Ernest Robinson Sr.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Janis Mayfield-Robles and Daniel Elliot, of Independence, Missouri; children, Tylor Robinson, of Carrollton, Missouri, Ezekiel (Jasmine) Robinson, of St. Joseph, and Faith Parker, of St Joseph; stepsons, Arthur and Alexander (Sara) Stastny, of Marshall, Missouri; brother, Loshel (Lisa) Robinson, of Templeton, California; sisters, Jaime Robinson, of Independence, Missouri, and Laura Robles, of Arizona; nephew and nieces, Van, Justice, Hope and Harmony.
