Roesle, Gary M. 1954-2026 Milton, Fla.

MILTON, Fla. – Gary Michael Roesle, 71, of Milton, Florida, died unexpectedly on Jan. 4, 2026. Gary was born in St. Joseph on Aug. 1, 1954, son of the late Louis R. Roesle and Dorothy (Powers) Roesle.
He attended Cathedral Grade School and graduated from Bishop LeBlond High School.
Gary began his career working at Pizza Hut in Pensacola, Florida. When his brother, Dick, founded M&D Foreign Car Parts, he made a career move and worked in the auto parts business for over 30 years, retiring in 2012.
Gary loved spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren, Bailey and Decker.
He loved to laugh and tell jokes, usually at the expense of his brothers and sisters. He also loved his guitar and spent many hours listening and playing Beatles music. He was interested in history, especially World War II. This interest was inspired by the fact that both of his parents served overseas during the war, his father as an airplane mechanic and his mother as an Army nurse.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bill and Dick Roesle.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Melanie (Ryan) Blanton; grandchildren, Bailey and Decker Blanton, Pensacola; brothers, John (Jan) Roesle, Kansas City, Missouri, Dennis (Julie) Roesle, Pensacola, Marty (Nancy) Roesle, Youngstown, Florida; sisters, Carol (John) Burns, St. Joseph, and Kay (Brian) Schmidt, Olpe, Kansas; and sister-in-law, Denise (Dick) Roesle, Pensacola. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Final farewell services will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Hwy, Pensacola, Florida, on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, at 2 p.m. Family will receive visitors from 1:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
