Sparks, Harold W. 1939-2025 Kansas City, Mo.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Harold William Sparks, 86, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Dec. 24, 2025. Born Feb. 24, 1939, in Whitesville, Missouri, he married Peggy Lee Johnson on March 6, 1964.

Harold proudly served in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve and worked as a Teamster, with the St. Joseph Fire Department, and retired from Ironworkers Local 10. He enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Lee Sparks; his brother, Arthur Dean Sparks; and his family.

Celebration of Life: noon Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Antioch Bible Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.
