FORTH WORTH, Texas – Marie Anita Roberts, 67, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born June 3, 1958, in St. Joseph, daughter of the late June and Alton Wallace.

She graduated from Lafayette High School class of 1976 and married Gary Roberts on June 3, 1988, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2020.

She worked at Mead Products and American Airlines as a Ticketing Agent. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her grand kids, puzzles, and traveling, and was a former member of the Copeland Baptist Church, in St. Joseph, and the Birdville Baptist Church, in Fort Worth.

Marie was preceded in death by husband, Gary Roberts; her parents; and a brother, Paul Wallace.

Survivors include son, Nathan (Makayla) Roberts, of Fort Worth; sister, Marcia Hill, of St. Joseph; grandsons: Jonathan and Malcolm Roberts; as well as five other grandchildren; a cousin, Sandy Kepner, of San Diego, California; step-son, James (Mary) Roberts, of Fillmore, Missouri; step-daughter, Carrie (Ronnie) Blakely.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home, Steve Roberts officiating. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
