Harris, Dawayne A. 1960-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Dawayne Alan Harris, 65, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, in a Kansas City, Kansas, hospital. He was born Sept. 29, 1960, in Chillicothe, Missouri, son of the late Mary and Leland Harris.

He worked at St. Joe Express as a truck driver over 25 years. He enjoyed gardening, and spending time with his friends at the Eagles Lodge.

Dawayne was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Kenny and Billy Brown.

Survivors include: sons, Austin (Katie) Harris and Joseph Harris, both of St. Joseph; three grandchildren; and siblings: Dale Harris, Melvin Brown, and Michelle Harris.
