Patton, Robert 1939-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Robert “Bob” Patton passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 26, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Bob was a loving father and grandfather. He was blessed to share 57 wonderful years with his late wife, Helen, and the last eight cherished years with partner, Loretta McCray. Bob loved woodworking, golf, traveling and spending time with family and friends. His greatest joy was found in celebrating his family and lovingly teasing them along the way.

He is survived by his partner, Loretta McCray; daughters, Lynn Wilson (Gerry) and Kathy Patton (Todd Ward); grandchildren, Zach Wilson (Rachael), Alix Cronin (Jarret), and Gaige Wilson (Emma); and great-grandchildren, Carter, Mavry, Lincoln, and Lucas.

Visitation: Sept. 2 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., followed by service at 5:30 p.m. at Heaton-Bowman- Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
