Kline, Karen 1988-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Karen Kline, 37, a spirited and loving individual from St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025. She was born Jan. 1, 1988, at Fort Hood, Texas, to William and Susan (Bullard) Kline.
Karen was a proud graduate of Helen Davis State School. Her enduring love for art and photography allowed her to capture and celebrate precious moments, sharing them with a keen and appreciative eye. Karen was also deeply fascinated by community service heroes, holding special admiration for the courage and dedication of police, firefighters, and medical personnel.
One of the things she used to love was attending the Day Program at UCP, where she brought joy and liveliness to her fellow participants.
Karen enjoyed the time spent with her family, friends and house staff, also watching the simple pleasures of animal companions, Karen found happiness in the pure connections of life.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan and her legacy lives on through her father, William Kline, her brothers, Joseph, William, and Andrew, and extended family and friends.
An advocate for always speaking one’s mind, Karen never shied away from expressing her feelings, ensuring that those around her knew where they stood in her heart, whether she liked them or not. She was a beacon of creative energy and outspoken honesty, that will be deeply missed. Her memory will forever be a source of strength and comfort to those who were privileged to share in her journey.
Celebration of Life 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, The Center for Joy at 1202 Felix St., St. Joseph. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Adult Program of United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Missouri.
