Fetty, Susan 1961-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Susan Cobb Fetty, 63, St. Joseph, passed away on May 3, 2025, at her residence. Susan was born on Aug. 28, 1961, to Jimmie and Margaret (Fuston) Cobb, in St. Joseph.

She graduated from Lafayette High School with the class of 1979. She was united in marriage to Tim Fetty in May, 1999. To that union a daughter, Ashlei, was born. Susan worked at Silgan Containers for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandma.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Fetty; daughter, Ashlei (DeWayne) Fanning; granddaughters, Ali and Cashley Fanning, of St. Joseph; sister, Jean Ann (Mike) Taylor, of Creston, Iowa; nephews and nieces, Ryan and Janelle Taylor, Kayson and Cora, of Waukee, Iowa, and Blair (Martina) Taylor Tate, Landry and Rhett, Sioux City, Iowa; an uncle, Ron (Judy) Fuston; an aunt, Helen Rehm; and many Cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Margaret Cobb; godparents; grandparents; and father and mother-in-law, David and Joanne Fetty.

Memorials may be directed to Amedisys (Hospice). The family would like to express their sincere Thank You to all the Hospice caregivers for helping with the care for Susan.

The family will gather with friends 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. There will not be a burial.
