Jones, Kadin M. 2004-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Kadin M. “Boomer” Williams Jones, 20, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at his home in Topeka, Kansas. He was born July 4, 2004, in St. Joseph, son of Crystal and Steven Jones.
Kadin’s greatest love and joy in his life was his wife, Kaytlin, and their children, Kyler and Isla. He loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed playing with his kids, reading to them, making them laugh, and snuggling to watch movies with them. He was always boasting to his family about how much he loved Kaytlin, Kyler and Isla, they were truly his whole world.
Growing up he enjoyed martial arts, basketball, football, fishing, camping, gaming, cars and going on car rides with his friends. Kadin loved to share stories about his time with his family. He shared stories of his fishing trips with his father-in-law, Anthony “Tony” Sr. and the bond they shared. He shared memories of riding 4-wheelers with his grandfather, Jerry Jr. and cousin, Jerry, throwing fireworks with his uncle Kyle, having roman candle wars with his uncle, Daniel, and playing tricks on his family, mostly his siblings, Koltin, Italy and father, Steven. Kadin’s favorite and most told stories were about his wife, Kaytlin, and children, Kyler and Isla. He never held a conversation that didn’t include them and the love he held for them. Kadin was the light of the room and always brought joy and laughter to everyone. Kadin had big dreams and ideas. He never set small goals, he was always living as if anything were possible.
Kadin was preceded in death by great-grandfathers, Jack Reynolds, David Hurd, and James Lanham; great-grandmothers, Delores Beck and Susie Lanham; grandfather, Michael Williams; uncle, Kyle Jones; great-aunt, LaNeese Hale; and his best friend, Emmett Pendergras.
Survivors include: wife, Kaytlin Williams Jones (Eighmy); son, Kyler Williams Jones; daughter, Isla Williams Jones; mother, Crystal Jones; father, Steven Jones; bonus fathers, Keith Fischer and Matt Williams; father-in-law, Anthony “Tony” Eighmy Sr.; mother-in-law, Christy Eighmy; great-grandmothers, Chris Reynolds and Linda Hurd; great-grandfather, Bo Schawinsky; grandfathers, Jerry Ziolkowski Jr. and David Hurd II; grandmothers, Norma Ziolkowski, Julie Hurd (Schawinsky), and Karla Davis; brothers, Koltin Jones, Conner Park, Jace Kirkpatrick, Finn Fischer, Austin Nelson, and Zachary Nelson; brother- in-law, Matthew Eighmy; sisters, Italy Jones, Teighen Park, McKenna Hansen Jones, and Kierstan McMullen; aunts, Candi Ziolkowski, Johnnalyn Kissick, Kelsee Kissick, Brandi Williams, Jordan Hurd, Laura Foster, and Jami Symington (Ingram); uncles, Daniel Kissick and Jamel Fleming; cousins, Jerry Smith, X-Zavier Murphy, Everleigh Smith Williams, Quentin Fleming, Maddylyn Kissick, Lorilea Kissick, Madison Hoyt, Julianna Williams, Giselle Thompson, AlexAndrea Danyluck, Jymon Wilson, Prince Wilson, Dakota Symington, Ryler Symington, Aidyn Symington, Jerry Jones, and Gary Jones.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Kadin Williams Jones memorial fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
