Alma Louise Keith, 83, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, in St Joseph. She was born May 25, 1941, in St. Joseph, daughter of Mae Louise and Gerald Williams. On Dec. 21, 1967, she married the love of her life, Aaron Keith Jr.

Alma worked as a waitress for many years and later Taco Johns, retiring in 2011. She enjoyed playing Skip-Bo and computer games, spending time with her dog, Tinker Bell, and her cigarettes. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aaron Edgar Keith Jr., in 2011; daughter, Charlotte Keith; granddaughter, Jordon Bartram; and brothers, Sonny Williams and Curtis Steeby.

Survivors include son, Jamie Barnes (Violet Barrick); daughter, Peggy (Jay) Ellis, both of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Lorena and Leslie Ebling and Nicholas Barnes; maternal siblings, Raymond (Cheri) Steeby, Dennis (Marilyn) Steeby, Fred (Anna) Steeby, Kevin (Shelli) Steeby, Bertha (Bill) Belding, and Lori (Jennifer) Boller; paternal siblings, Carl (June) Williams, Debbie (Rick) Bosworth, Wilma (George) Roberts and Gerrie (Jerry) Peterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Keith has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
