Loyd “Billy” William Reese Jr., 58, of St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at his home. He was born March 8, 1966, in Atchison, Kansas, son of Linda and Loyd Reese Sr. He worked at Lee Grover Construction and Herner Construction.

Billy enjoyed riding his Harley, being around people and was the life of the Party, and was a proud member of Union Local 579.

He was preceded in death by mother, Linda Louise Reese; and grandchild, baby Ledford.

Survivors include father, Lloyd Reese Sr., of St. Joseph; wife Debora Reese; daughters, Misty (Jason) Hannemann, and Terrenda Ledford; grandchildren, Alyssa and Jacob Bonnett, and Preston Ledford.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the Rupp Funeral Home, Pastor Olin Greer officiating. The Interment will be at the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
