Bruce Wayne Hartman, 70, St. Joseph, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024.

He was born on Nov. 10, 1953, to William “Bill” and Patricia (Bauman) Hartman, in St. Joseph. He graduated from Central High School.

Bruce enjoyed golfing and was an avid gamer. He was a handyman who took pride in being able to fix anything that he worked on.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Hartman; his stepfather, Gene Overton; and his sister, Ladonna Hartman.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Billie (Pryor) Hartman; mother, Patricia Overton; sons, Wayne Hartman (Rachel) and Benjamin Hartman (Cinthia); grandsons, Blain and Jacob Hartman; brother, Gary Hartman; sister, Jacqueline Hartman; and other extended family members that will miss him dearly.

Graveside Farewell Services and Interment 1 p.m. Tuesday, Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association for ILD Research.
