INDEPENDENCE, Ky. – Patricia “Patty” Ann Chesser, age 60, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024. She was born in St. Joseph on Dec. 11, 1963, to Donald and Christine (Boling) Chesser. Patty attended Benton High School, in St. Joseph. She worked at 1st Street Graphics, in St. Joseph, and moved to Erlanger, Kentucky, in 1993. Patty enjoyed crafting, watching TV, listening to music, and was an amazing cook.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Chesser, and granddaughter, Allasandra Losey.

Patty is survived by her children, Cassandra Chesser and Spencer Suman, both of Kentucky; mother, Christine Chesser, of St. Joseph; sister, Cindy (Chesser) Rilinger; of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, Stanley Losey, Elijah Leicht, Wyatt Suman, Logan Suman, Willow Suman, and Dean Suman; nephew, Tyler (Paige) James; great-niece, Stella James; and other extended family.

Patty has been cremated under the care of Newcomer Northern Kentucky Chapel, in Erlanger, Kentucky.

She will be inurned at a later date at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in St. Joseph.
