The hike will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25. Bring shoes fit for hilly gravel trails, a water bottle and some binoculars if you have them. This family-friendly hike is open to all ages and trail experience levels.
Be ready to spend about an hour on the bluff trails. Pets are asked to stay home to give everyone the best chance to spot local wildlife.
Next, shop, sip and support local during the She Means Business Shop Crawl, happening from 5 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24.
The event is happening at 3855 Frederick Avenue, in honor of National Women’s Small Business Month. A $30 registration gets shoppers exclusive discounts at some of their favorite local spots, including: Polished Pretty by Em, Hazel's Coffee Company, Juniper Lane and more. Shoppers will also get a She Means Business event T-shirt and refreshments. The first 50 people to register will also get a swag bag loaded with goodies from each shop!
