See St. Joseph: The Shoppe Market, Spider Sniffing and Ricky Deans 2nd Annual Fall Spectacular

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- There’s a lot of fall fun happening around town this weekend. From vintage finds to spider adventures and free family fun, there's something for everyone.

On Saturday, The Interior Shoppe is putting on a curated market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Inside, you’ll find antique rugs, wallpaper and vintage pieces. Outside, there will be a flower bar, coffee, baked goods and more, all from woman-owned businesses. It's all happening at 1919 Frederick Ave.

If you’re looking for something a little spookier, check out the Spooky Spiders presentation from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday with Shelly Cox. You’ll learn all about spiders and the art of spider sniffing.

Located at the Remington Nature Center, you’ll have the chance to see some live spiders up close and even go on a spider hunt. It’s five dollars per person, recommended for ages five and up. Space is limited, so call ahead to save a spot.

Then on Sunday, Ricky Dean’s is hosting its 2nd Annual Fall Spectacular from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free, and you’ll also find hayrides, a petting zoo, face painting, live music and plenty of games, all for free.

There will also be pumpkins, mums, crafts, caramel apples and kettle corn for sale, plus food and drink specials inside Ricky Dean’s.
