ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- After making three consecutive trips to the Super Bowl, competing for championships has been a given for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Even with last season ending in a deflating loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, fans still remain hopeful in the teams championship window.

"I think they had a very successful year, that didn't end the way they wanted it to," Chiefs fan Tim O'Connell said. "But I think this is going to be another stellar year. I think they're going to make it back to the playoffs, they're in a good spot, even with a tough schedule."

Fans are excited to see the additions made to the roster by way of free agency and the NFL draft, specifically in bolstering the offensive and defensive line. This has kept optimism high for Kansas City's odds of securing the franchises fifth Lombardi Trophy.

"I have high expectations," Chiefs fan Christian said. "Last year the line (offensive & defensive) was off, but now they drafted a few more linemen. They are good enough to make the playoffs (in the Wild Card round) or even win their division."

The overall feeling from the loyal members of Chiefs Kingdom is the ultimate end goal is to make it to Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.
