ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) --  The L6 Junior Tournament, hosted by USTA Heart of America and the Saint Joseph Sports Commission, held the Noyes Tennis Complex on Saturday.

In total, 40 players from across Missouri took part in the tournament. The single draws were limited to 16 players.

"When you consider it's an individual event, forty's a decent amount," St. Joseph Sports Commission Director Brett Esley said. "We've had tremendous history of tennis and we certainly look forward to that continuing for many years. We've just been happy here at the Sports Commission to be involved and play our part."

The next set of matches will take place on August 1 at the Noyes Tennis Complex.
