St. Joseph library partners with KC Royals for blood drive

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- St. Joseph residents have a chance to save lives and score some exclusive gifts, courtesy of the Kansas City Royals.

The Downtown Library will host a blood drive, in partnership with the Community Blood Center and the Royals.

The blood drive will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday, June 23 and will be held at 927 Felix St.

Anyone who donates blood will receive a Royals t-shirt and two tickets to a home game while supplies last.

For those wanting to donate, it's strongly encouraged to eat, properly hydrate and bring a valid driver's license.
