Advanced Care residents celebrate Christmas festivities.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) --  The Advanced Care of Saint Joseph had their annual Christmas party on Friday for its residents.

Residents gathered around their cafeteria to celebrate the early festivities with meals, snacks and a visit from Santa.

"Being able to share this moment with them and, open gifts with them it's very touching because some of them dont really have a lot, so being able to even give them a stocking cap or a new shirt and seeing that smile it really warms your heart," said Staff Social Worker Alysee Staples.

Gifts for the event were provided by staff and local donations to ensure every resident got a gift.
