Chamber Chairman’s Breakfast features Evergy Senior Director

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce's 2025 Chairman's Breakfast will feature discussions centered around community growth and empowerment.

Jason Klindt, the senior director of External Affairs for Evergy, will speak at the annual breakfast, which takes place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at MoWest's Fulkerson Center, located at 4525 Downs Drive.

Klindt will share his message titled "Planning for Growth & Powering out Communities" and has the primary responsibility for Evergy's policy and legislative agenda at the federal, state and local levels.

Klindt also oversees economic development ream working to attract and retain businesses in Kansas and Missouri. He is also on the Missouri Chamber Board of Directors.

The cost to attend the Breakfast is $40 for Chamber members and $50 for the public. The Chamber said the price will increase after Nov. 12.

The event will primarily be hosted by the Chamber's 202nd Chairman of the Board, Scott Gann of Scott Gann Construction.

The Breakfast is presented by John Joe Agency. The speaker is sponsored by Triumph Foods.
