The St. Joseph Board of Education is getting ready to meet at 5:30 on Monday, Nov, 10

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) --  The St. Joseph School District Board of Education will discuss Plan E updates, as well as other district projects.

The Board will meet for a work session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, at the Troester Media Center, located at 3401 Renick St.

Plan E will serve as the main topic, following the board's unanimous vote to move forward with the plan.

Now, district administrators will break down what those changes could look like — from feeder systems and boundaries to staffing, finances and academics.

Also up for discussion: a proposal to install a new incline wheelchair lift at Coleman Elementary. The goal is to make it easier for students and staff to move between the lower and upper floors.

The board will also look at a potential partnership with Avila University’s Teacher Preparation Program — giving Avila education students a chance to gain classroom experience in the SJSD.

KQ2 will update this story.
