ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- Freudenthal Home-Based Healthcare is offering a welcome space for caregivers to connect and share experiences with dementia care.

Freudenthal will host three different sessions during its special event series: Navigating Dementia Together.

Each session will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month at Benedictine Living Community, located at 1202 Heartland Road.

The first session, happening on Nov. 5, "Be a Healthy Caregiver," will discuss how individuals can be healthy caregivers by caring for both themselves and their loved ones.

The second session on Dec. 3 will discuss "Finding the Calm in Caregiving," highlighting the fact that stress is common, but it doesn't have to define the journey in caregiving.

The final session on Jan. 7 covers "The Hope Beyond Darkness," where facilitators will discuss how caregivers face depression and how brighter days and renewed strength are possible.
