NWMO Republican Club announces July meeting
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- The Northwest Missouri Republican Club will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, July 17.
The meeting will be held at Bandana's Bar-B-Q, located at 4225 Frederick Ave.
Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the evening program at 6:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to order from the menu.
The guest speaker for July is Duane Lester, the deputy state director of Americans for Prosperity in Missouri.
Lester is a former journalist and Navy veteran and advocates for individual liberty.
Lester previously led staff training at AFP and founded The Missouri Torch and All American Blogger. Lester lives in Tarkio, Missouri, where he tries to find time to read while raising his nine children.
